落叶在空中盘旋，谱写着一首感恩的乐章，那是大树对滋养它的大地的感恩;白云在蔚蓝的天空中飘荡，绘画着那一幅幅感人的画面，那是白云对哺育它的蓝天的感恩。因为感恩才会有这个多彩的社会，因为感恩才会真挚的友情，因为感恩才让我们懂得了生命的真谛!

The leaves swirl in the air, composing a symphony of gratitude, which reflects the tree's appreciation for the nurturing earth; the white clouds float in the blue sky, painting touching pictures, which depict the clouds' gratitude to the sky that sustains them. Because of gratitude, we have this colorful society; because of gratitude, we have sincere friendships; and because of gratitude, we understand the true essence of life!

我是一个来自农村家庭的孩子，因为父母已经离异多年，爸爸是一名尿毒症晚期病人，已经完全丧失了劳动能力，再加上家里还有一个正在读初中的弟弟，生活的压力全扛在年迈的爷爷奶奶身上。爷爷一直以务农为主，奶奶在家织渔网补贴家用。随着年龄的增加以及在经济、生活的双重压力之下，爷爷奶奶的身体也渐渐不如以往，很多的体力活渐渐吃不消，而我即将面临决定人生的大考，无法为减轻家里的负担贡献一份力量。

I am a child from a rural family. My parents have been divorced for many years. My father is a late-stage uremia patient, who has completely lost the ability to work. Additionally, I have a younger brother who is in junior high school. The burden of life falls entirely on my elderly grandparents. My grandfather has primarily been a farmer, and my grandmother weaves fishing nets to supplement the household income. As they age and under the dual pressure of economy and life, their physical condition has gradually deteriorated, making it increasingly difficult for them to handle physical labor. Meanwhile, I am about to face the major exam that will decide my future, unable to contribute to alleviating the family burden.

但是很幸运，我得到了胡杨教育基金会的资助。每年胡杨基金会都会给我这样的家庭一笔钱来补贴我的生活费以及学费，这给家里减轻了一部分经济负担，在此我向胡杨基金会表达最真诚的感激。同时我也由衷地感激我的祖国，感激我的学校，感激我的班主任，是你们让我不断地成长，是你们让我度过了最艰难的时光，也是你们给了我前进的动力和勇气，让我更加坚强和独立，感谢你们!

However, I am very fortunate to have received support from the Populus Education Foundation. Every year, the foundation provides financial assistance to families like mine to cover living expenses and tuition fees, reducing some of the economic burdens on my family. Here, I express my sincere gratitude to the Populus Foundation. I also deeply thank my country, my school, and my homeroom teacher. It is because of you that I have continued to grow, that I have made it through the most difficult times, and that I have the motivation and courage to move forward, making me stronger and more independent. 俗话说“滴水之恩，当涌泉相报。”因此作为一名受胡杨基金会资助的学生，我会加倍珍惜来之不易的学习机会。“落红不是无情物，化作春泥更护花”这是花儿对大地的感恩；“羊有跪乳之情，鸦有反哺之义”这是动物对父母的感恩；“士为知己者死，女为悦己者容”这是人类对知音的感恩。因为懂得感恩，他们就拥有了一颗金子般的心，他们才创造了世间许多的传奇；因为懂得感恩，这世界才充满温情美丽。

As the saying goes, "A drop of water shall be returned with a burst of spring." Therefore, as a student supported by the Populus Foundation, I will cherish the hard-won learning opportunities. "Fallen petals are not heartless things; they turn into spring soil to nurture flowers" – this is the flower's gratitude to the earth; "A lamb kneels to nurse, a crow feeds its parents" – this is the gratitude of animals to their parents; "A soldier dies for the one who understands him, a woman makes herself beautiful for the one who appreciates her" – this is human gratitude to their confidants. Because they understand gratitude, they possess a heart of gold, and they have created many legends in the world; because they understand gratitude, this world is filled with warmth and beauty.

人的一生，一半风，一半雨，有坎坷，有辉煌。我们要心怀感恩，去开拓，做一个爱国，懂得感恩，诚信的人！最后，我会珍惜这来之不易的资助资金，尽自己最大的努力来报效祖国和学校，以及社会中所有帮助过我的人！一定不负你们的期望，怀着自信和一颗感恩的心，励志奋进！
